Pleven is one of the five medical Universities in Bulgaria. It was established in 1974, expanding the horizons, size and reputation of the City Hospital. Today, combining traditions of the past with the possibilities of the present, it incorporates educational and therapeutic facilities, contemporary pre-clinical base University Hospital with more than 1000 beds and clinics in all major medical fields. They also have a large number of specialized clinics and research units with modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. PMU is one of the leading MBBS colleges in Bulgaria and includes theoretical, pre-clinical, and clinical departments required for higher medical education.

Graduates can apply for full registration with the regulatory bodies (e.g. the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom) in all member states of the European Economic Area.
All course work is aligned to European Union requirements. Students have the option to continue with their chosen specialisation in Bulgaria or return to their home country or anywhere around the world to continue their practice.
Graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the United States Medical Licensing Examinations to work in the USA as well as the Medical Council of India examinations. PMU is included in the World Directory of Medical Schools.

MBBS IN MEDICINE

Duration: 6 years
Medicine has been taught in English at Medical University Pleven since 1997 and was the first English taught medicine program in Bulgaria. The program has grown in scope and scale and now the university welcomes around one hundred and seventy students per year from all over the world.
NURSING IN ENGLISH
Course Fee: € 3200/ year
Duration: 4 years
Opportunity to become a nurse anywhere in the EU (European union). Additional classes for MLA if students want to come back to India.
BULGARIAN LANGUAGE
Course Fee: € 1,700
Duration: 5 Months Online
Preparatory courses in English/ Bulgarian for international students coming from non-English-speaking countries who wish to join the English language medical course & Bulgarian Language is prerequisites for Nursing.
