Founded in 1961, The Medical University of Varna is the first university in Bulgaria to implement the EFQM® model for Business Excellence of the European Foundation for Quality Management in 2008. The diplomas issued by the University are recognized in all the European Union countries.

All course work is aligned to European Union requirements. Students have the option to continue with their chosen specialisation in Bulgaria or return to their home country or anywhere around the world to continue their practice.
Graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the United States Medical Licensing Examinations to work in the USA as well as the Medical Council of India examinations. VMU is included in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
COURSES OFFERED
The program opens the door for hundreds of students who share the passion and determination for a career in Medicine. Designed for students graduating from high school, the program is a combined undergraduate and graduate education in medical science.
MBBS IN MEDICINE

Duration: 6 years
The six-year medical studies in English allow students to enroll in the medical school directly from high school. The program is designed for students who are strongly motivated, have a good command of both written and spoken English and interest in medical science.
